4. What methods of tile and grout cleaning do you use?

We use the latest hi-tech tile and grout cleaning equipment and processes that are on the market today. This includes the best chemicals, orbital scrubbing machines and variable hot water pressure and vacuum recovery technology. Your tile and grout will be the cleanest it has ever been!

5. What size tile and grout area can you clean and how fast can you do it?

We can clean any size area, whether it is residential kitchens and bathrooms to large shopping centres and commercial warehouses and factories. Our hi-tech commercial grade equipment enables us to adopt cleaning processes that are not only highly effective and efficient but also low in mess…this equates to a very fast cleaning process.

6. What methods of carpet cleaning do you use?

For residential carpet cleaning we recommend Hot Water Extraction, commonly referred to as ‘Steam Cleaning’. It employs the best method of flushing out dirt and detergent residues. It is also the method recommended by most carpet manufacturers. For those really dirty and extra soiled commercial carpets we recommend the Hot Water Extraction method but for the majority of commercial applications we recommend Encapsulation or Very Low Moisture carpet cleaning. This method is extremely effective for cleaning commercial grade carpets and it has the best drying times.

7. How often should I have my carpet professionally cleaned?

For residential carpet we recommend professional cleaning every 12 months. This can vary depending on the usage and the environment the carpet is in. For commercial carpet the cleaning frequency can vary considerably. Anything from weekly to 6 monthly is common.

8. Can you get all the stains and marks out of my carpet?

We will certainly try! In most cases our cleaning process will remove all the stains and marks, however, we do come across permanent staining which means no amount of cleaning or chemical usage will remove that particular stain. In this situation we will discuss with you alternative solutions. A good idea though is to attend to spills as they occur, as most spillages can be easily removed if attended to quickly.

9. How long until my freshly cleaned carpets can be walked on?

Northside Carpet Care processes result in very quick drying times. Depending on your needs and the cleaning process applied, we can have your freshly cleaned carpets dry within 30 minutes to 4 hours with no compromise to the cleaning process.

10. How long does the protectant on my carpet and upholstery last?

Under “normal” conditions and with reasonable care, a quality carpet and upholstery protectant will provide long lasting benefits, but its performance will reduce over time due to wear and tear. For optimum results it is recommended that the carpet and upholstery protectant be reapplied or “topped up” after every professional steam clean.

11. Do you move furniture?

Yes we do, BUT this is limited to items that are not overly heavy or do not contain breakables. We will move easy to shift tables, chairs and lounge chairs. Items such as book shelves, bedside tables, entertainment units etc must have the contents removed from them by you prior to us moving them.

12. My business is very busy during the day. Can you do the work after normal business hours when the business is closed?

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we cater specifically to your business needs, whether they are during or after business hours.
